| kadang-kadang lelucon yang kocak sedikit berbau porno namun mau dibilang apa memang itu realitasnyaQuestionable and unappealing behavior on G4. Attack of the Show and X-Play present an interesting way to entertain an audience. AOTS is live, the comedy topical, crude, and often adult orientated. X-Play is pre-taped, the comedy ranges from topical to obscure, is usually very witty and well written, and aimed at a broad audience or different audiences. (By the way, can you tell I can't breathe thru my nose?) The other aspect is that AOTS is haphazard in it's presentation, X-Play does not have lulls or dead air. The way G4 views and treats it's audience is a dichotomy. AOTS presents a wide spectrum of material, and has (well, was) started including material which can help/benefit the audience. X-Play seeks to benefit it's audience with it's content. AOTS has some good segments (The Loop, The Feed, Web Tools, Blog Watch, In Your Pants, a few others), and a few that are questionable or bad (Gadget Pron will showcase a product and at first talk about how great it is, then talk about how bad it is, and often the personalities will give the product a negative overall score. Why have the product and segment to begin with then?) Good thing G4 has a whole television network to help them with those things. I am a fan, and enjoy some things, and don't like others. I am not a fan of the negative and insulting material and jokes. (Kevin cracking gross jokes at Olivia's expense, videos about disgusting topics, annoying videos full of bleeps) And what you feel, you should give a response. Because I am a fan of G4 TV, I want to see the network succeed and grow. The same for the shows and personalities. I am curious why you do not see Kevin Pereira, Adam Sessler, or Morgan Webb more on various talk shows. Geoff Keighley was on Fox News to talk about the Mass Effect controversy, and I almost think he was picked because of his calm, quiet demeanor. (If you want a guest to have a strong opinion about something, and a guest to have a weak opinion, you choose how loud/obnoxious the person is. Geoff is a nice guy.) Adam Sessler would have definitely been a better person to pick for such a discussion (just as long as it wasn't live ;) ). I am surprised Kevin, Adam, and Morgan are not winning awards for journalism and educating/entertaining the public. During G4 TV comercials, they will air statements like "Ranked in Entertainment Weekly's Top Twenty Guilty Pleasures," which is great if you are an 18-34 y o male reading Entertainment Weekly. How many do? ;) I subscribe to PCGamer Magazine, and used to have Electronic Gaming Monthly. And both of those organizations have had their people appear on panel discussions on G4. There seems to be a disconnect. I do not watch G4 TV for a "guilty pleasure," I watch it for entertainment, education, and information. Morgan Webb showing me how to put together a desktop gaming personal computer is better then having two retirees tripping over setting up an X-Box 360 and Guitar Hero. (Sorry AOTS.) The amount of work and effort the three put into their programs is amazing, and I think is not receiving the recognition they deserve. (And yes, the staff that help the personalities also deserve the recognition. Which is why those people are thanked during acceptance speeches.) Neal Tiles, CEO of G4 TV, is ultimately responsible for the wellfare of his employees. Like any other good "boss," he wants to see his employees succeed, grow, become better, and receive recognition for their efforts (to inspire other workers to do good to outstanding work). This even includes expanding their skill sets through education and experience. Or is he (being forced to) following another methodology? We as fans should not be complaining to G4, we should be engaging in a dialog about what we would like to see, what we think would make the programming better. And because G4 has such an interactive functionality attached to it, why not take advantage of it? If you are negative and stifle creativity, you are going against the internet, which is about bringing people together, opening up communication, and aiding each other in various projects. G4 TV is "showing us the way" to have fan interaction and show content reflect that. G4 is not treating it's audience as a bunch of idiots, and with more positive and creative fan feedback, the programming can better give us "all the stuff we care about."
